CAVALRY GROUPING OF SAMUEL SCHULTZ CO. D 2ND PA CAVALRY

Got this piece on consignment from a great collection at the Chattanooga, TN Civil War Show this past weekend. Original Civil War Cavalry Grouping of Samuel Schultz Co. D 2nd Pennsylvania Cavalry. Acquired by the Horse Soldier (Gettysburg) from the family with a handwritten letter. This group includes his pair of army issued brass spurs with the iron rowels intact and a commercial haversack with lockable metal frame. The spurs have a beautiful matching aged patina and are in perfect shape. The Commercial Haversack is in good condition and still opens and secures tight. Has most of the broken sling. Has a pair of brass rim glasses in the inside pouch. Comes with all of the paperwork you see in the photos. Please call or write for more information.
